LUKA – Joseph Steven
Joseph Steven is an extraordinary actor. He will play the role of LUKA. He has acted more than 21 movies including Pirates of the Caribbean, and Star Trek. He hails from Chicago and studied acting, advertising, and film at the University of Illinois, Urbana; and, Children’s Theatre Workshop with Roman Tymchyshyn. His first performance was in Man of La Mancha. The Chicago International Film Festival awarded him an honorable mention for Afterthoughts, a film short. In Hollywood, his look and craft land him character actor and ‘real guy’ roles such as the quirky guy-next-door, detectives, butlers, chefs, stalkers, and other nut jobs.
In his 10 year Hollywood tenure, Joseph has appeared on the big, little, and web screens in: Star Trek (2009, with Eric Bana), Wanda at Large (with Wanda Sykes), The District (opposite Ernest Borgnine), Pirates 2 (as Greenbeard, with Orlando Bloom), award-winning La Première (with James Earl Jones) and The Last Days of Toussaint L’Ouverture (both, as Frenchmen [fluent]), K-Pax (with Kevin Spacey), Galaxy Quest (with Sigourney Weaver); plus indies Oblivious, The Fourth Horseman, Mariah Everyday Ordinarily, Anguish, Light Showers, Pawn, the web series Beverly Hills Salon, and most recently in Cup O’ Joe premiering at The 168 Project Film Festival, The Confrontation, and Club Infinity, among others.

Originally from New York City, Roger Rignack graduated from the High School of Performing Arts, where he appeared in the film, Fame. BFA in Acting from Emerson College in Boston. Roger studied with teachers such as Stella Adler and Uta Hagen. Film credits: True Love (Grand Prize – Sundance), Friends and Enemies (Best Actor, Deauville Film Festival), Crimes and Misdemeanors directed by Woody Allen, Janked (Cannes Film Festival). TV credits include: Mad Men, Dexter, Marvin Marvin, Rizzoli & Isles, Saturday Night Live, The Middle, Providence, General Hospital. Theatre credits include: Petruchio in The Taming of The Shrew at the Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, Edmund in Long Day’s Journey Into Night at the Ensemble Studio Theatre (off-Broadway), Teach in American Buffalo and Danny in Danny And The Deep Blue Sea at the Actors Studio in NYC. He performed the title role in the National tour of Don Quixote in both English and Spanish. Other credits include the US Premiere of Made in Buenos Aires at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, Our Lady of the Tortilla at the INTAR Theatre (off-Broadway). Roger has performed with several improv groups including Manhattan Punch Line in NYC and The Groundlings in Los Angeles. He has written book: “The Art of Directing Actors” – for directors, actors, screenwriters – as well as others who loves directing actors so much.

Jeannice Mustafa was born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. From a young age she was interested in films and the magic of filmmaking. In trying to fulfill her passion for the 7th art, she studied Literature and Cinema at the University of Puerto Rico and was involved in the production of short films and corporate events. She pursued her Masters Degree in Cinematography at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA and is now currently living in Los Angeles, CA, where she also works as a Camera Assistant, Digital Image Technician and Data Manager.
